*MACAU selects Shilla/Sky Connection and King Power HK for their two duty free airport contracts. The 5-year contracts are scheduled to begin Nov. 7th, 2014 are combined worth an estimated $160m a year. A total of 5,027,170 passengers went through Macau International Airport in 2013 up from 4.4m in 2012. *JAPAN – Kyoto plans to take advantage of the Japanese government’s plan to double the number of duty-free shops in the country in time for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic games.
