*JAPAN – Kansai International Airport in Osaka has now opened a Lotte Duty Free shop, the second of only two foreign companies to have a Duty Free presence in Japan. It will mainly sell Korean products such as Sulwhasoo, Laneige and The History of Whoo, red ginseng products and South Korean tobacco brands. *KOREA – Lotte Duty Free is now waiting on the final approval for the saftey inspections for the opening of Phase 1 of it’s Lotte World Tower. After opening it will be shutting down it’s Duty Free sales in the nearby Lotte World Hotel. *Dufry has concluded the acquisition of The Nuance Group based on a consideration of CHF1.55 billion (US$1.66 billion), on a debt- and cash-free basis.
